It is with sadness mixed with a deep sense of peace that we announce the passing of Mr. David Weir today May 18, 2012.

A great man has fought a good fight, finished his race, kept the faith and has now received his crown of righteousness from the Lord, the Righteous Judge.

David Weir worked with World Compassion Terry Law Ministries for 37 years and for the past twenty years oversaw our United Kingdom operations.

David gave his entire life for opening doors for the Gospel. He was a forerunner for Living Sound and Terry Law Ministries all across the British Isles, scheduling our teams and Terry Law to minister in many of the largest evangelical and charismatic churches in that nation. He built strong lasting relationships with key pastors and Christian leaders across the United Kingdom. Untold thousands have come to Christ as a result.

David was a friend and an encourager to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Please join the entire World Compassion Terry Law Ministries team in praying for David’s wife Rosemary, their three children Debbie, David John, and Andy and their families.

Bless this sweet, sweet family Lord. May Your peace come upon them in a way they have never experienced. We speak blessing over all of them and we cling to Your truths and promises.

I did not know Mr. Weir personally but his son David is my pastor. During the years as pastor, Pastor Dave has spoken many times about his father and what a man of God he was. I know that Mr. Weir has many crowns to lay at the feet of his Saviou. I pray for peace for the entire Weir family. We love you Pastor.

I've just heard about David's call home. I was privileged to know him when our paths crossed during his time in the UK. A man of vision, Godly wisdom, with a great sense of humour and a dear but in later years, more distant friend. I will never forget him & the times we spent together were very precious to me. A lovely, gracious man - sadly missed, now with His Lord whom he served so well.
