Education
In Afghanistan we provide literacy, computer, and English courses to women and children, offering them basic life skills such as reading and writing in their own language, basic computer knowledge and English.
These skills training classes give these women and children, many of whom are widows and orphans, the opportunity to go to school to receive further education or to provide for their families through a job or trade. The course provides students with hope for finding work or obtaining further education.
Our Community Development Program is designed to work in tandem with our literacy training program to help villages in the mountains of Afghanistan establish community services related to child development, nutrition, and personal and community hygiene.
