Terry Law

Terry Law is the founder and president of World Compassion Terry Law Ministries.  In 1969, upon graduating from Oral Roberts University, he co-founded Living Sound International, a music group that ministered in more than forty countries.  He continued to ministers the Gospel in nations like the former Soviet Union and other communist nations such as China, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Romania, and Poland, first with Living Sound and later, his own ministry.  While in Poland, he met with Karol Cardinal Wojtyla, later Pope John Paul II.

In 1971, Terry heard the Lord say to him, “I am going to send you to minister among the closed countries of the world.  You will do things there that most men will believe impossible.  If you trust Me and are obedient, I will protect you.”  For over forty years, he has traveled to countries that are “hostile” to the Gospel, ministering to the lost and hurting in places such as the former Soviet Union, Cuba and North Korea.  More recently his ministry, World Compassion, has focused on the Middle East, and Asian nations.

Terry preaches frequently in North America, Canada, and the United Kingdom and ministers in closed countries several times each year.  His messages are rich in biblical truth, bringing salvation, healing and hope through deep scriptural teaching.

He has written several books including The Fight of Every Believer, The Truth about Angels, How to Enter the Presence of God, The Power of Praise and Worship, and his newest release in May of 2010 The Hope Habit.  His booklet The Story of Jesus has been translated into more than 52 languages, with an estimated 27 million copies distributed worldwide.

Terry and his wife Barbara live in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
