• The Chinese government is initiating a five-year plan to make religion (including Christianity) align more with communism
• The communist government in China is working to bring about uniformity to their nation by controlling religion. One way they are doing this is by “rewriting” the Bible as well as other religious books
• Reports show that the retranslation would be a summary of the Old Testament along with some Buddhist and Confucian teachings and revised New Testament commentary
• The “rewrite” of the Bible will impact the purity of the Gospel, and could cause future generations of the Chinese Church to drift away from following Jesus
• This is all a part of China’s publicly stated agenda to align people’s religious beliefs with their political and social agenda - aligning God to their government rather than aligning their governing principles to God

Ms. Lang's Story
Ms. Lang, one of the leaders in a house church who uses our ABC curriculum, shared this story with us.
“I was praying and asking God how to better feed our people spiritually. Last June I had a dream that Pastor Shin (another pastor in China) would provide the best spiritual food to us. A few months ago Pastor Shin shipped us one set of the ABC course as a sample.
As we started studying, God showed how our development has been slow…but now God is using ABC to build a big, beautiful, spiritual building. The curriculum helps give us clarity on what the Bible is saying; it gives us understanding.”
She knew it was an answer to her prayer, and their church is now using ABC. She said, “We are sure ABC is God’s design for us. This is why our church is passionate to study ABC right now.”
