Deuteronomy 8:18 is a great reminder of the opportunities and responsibility we have been given. It says, “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”
God has given you and me the opportunity to obtain the wealth that we have. But our wealth is not intended to be used just for ourselves. It’s okay for us to have wealth; that’s a part of God’s desire for our lives. But the primary purpose for wealth is to establish God’s covenant in the lives of those who do not know Him yet. That’s our responsibility – our mission.
God wants to work through you and use the wealth he has provided to meet the needs of others. It’s through your generous giving from the resource you have that refugee families can experience God’s love and have the chance to know Him.
World Compassion has access to thousands of families who need help today! Our goal is to reach over 2,500 families by meeting their needs and introducing them to Jesus. You can take part in investing into the lives of these hurting people, both physically and spiritually.
