In the midst of our tears, we celebrate Terry’s life, his boldness, his vision and his courage to go where few were willing to go — to reach the unreached with the saving message of Jesus Christ. We are convinced that his life influenced millions to embrace the good news of the Gospel.
We remember today the mandate that Terry initially received while ministering with his first Living Sound team in South Africa.
“I am going to send you to minister among the closed countries of the world. You will do things that most people will believe impossible. If you trust Me and are obedient, I will protect you.”
This led to his over 50-year journey of ministry to become an influential voice to nations hostile to the Gospel including Russia, China, North Korea, Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq.
Using a compassion evangelism model of ministry helped shape who World Compassion is today — transforming lives by meeting both their physical and spiritual needs.
We celebrate Terry Law’s legacy and purpose to continue to reach the unreached, which he exampled with his life these 77 years.
Thank you for remembering to pray for the Law family at this time.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. – 2 Timothy 4:7-8
