Safety and Shelter

Churches in Ukraine and neighboring countries are converting their buildings, schools, and warehouses into makeshift shelters for the two million people who have fled their homes. The demand for beds cannot be met fast enough.

Clothing

The second wave of evacuations is made up of Ukrainians traveling mostly by train or by foot. They are bringing with them only what they can physically carry. Many have just one set of clothes.

Food

Grocery stores are quickly running out of supplies. Additionally, many of the makeshift shelters are located in remote areas where access to food and other necessities is incredibly limited.

Fuel

Local churches are purchasing vans to transport people and food to shelters across the region. With the rising cost of gas ($6.90/gallon in Ukraine), there is an enormous need for help in funding these critical transportation operations.
